Johnny Depp surprised the audience of Walt Disney Co.’s D23 Expo in Anaheim last Friday by sailing on stage in his famous pirate costume. 5,000 fans jumped to their feet as Johnny emerged in full character as Jack Sparrow.
Depp is also the star of the fourth pirate movie, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides“, to be released in 2011, the forth coming “Alice in Wonderland” and the “The Lone Ranger” project as well.

Depp arrived on the Anaheim stage in a replica of the Black Pearl pirate ship and, before they saw his face, fans were already happy thinking it was park impersonator. Other appearances at the D23 Expo included Miley Cyrus, Tim Burton, John Travolta, and Nicolas Cage.
