Originally released in the US on August 2007, now “The Muppet Show: Season Two finally arrived on DVD in Europe as well, from Buena Vista Home Entertainment.
This second full season of the show created by Jim Henson, whose rights have been recently bought by the Walt Disney Company, contains episodes aired between September 1977 and May 1978

Among the many guest stars in the series we find Julie Andrews, Steve Martin, Madeline Kahn, Rudolf Nureyev, Elton John, Peter Sellers, John Cleese, Petula Clark, Bob Hope and Bernadette Peters. The Muppet voices are performed by Frank Oz (Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy, Animal, the Eagle) and Jim Henson himself (Kermit the Frog, Rowlf, Waldorf, Swedish Chef, Dr. Teeth). Meanwhile the Complete Third Season, with Sylvester Stallone, Gilda Radner and Raquel Welch among the guest stars, has been released on dvd in the US on May 2008 and will be soon available in Europe as well.
